2022/2023 National Age Group Development Programme

Congratulations to both Grace Burton and Jenson Owen who have both been selected for the National Age Group Development Programme for 2022-2023. Grace will be heading off to Manchester whilst Jenson will be travelling to Huddersfield!

The athletes have an opportunity to access face to face training camps with an emphasis on developing stroke efficiency and Individual Medley turns whilst also having access to education workshops such as psychology, nutrition and land training activity.  

The Swim England Talent Team organise a series of development programmes that provide a pathway to support young swimmers and the ‘team behind the performer’ in their quest to achieve senior international podium success. The programme plays a supporting role at the start of your journey to become the Great British swimmer.

Both swimmers had an excellent National Championships last summer, so their place on the programme comes well deserved. We are beyond proud of you both, have a great time and learn lots!
