C Squad is targeted at young swimmers usually aged 7-9 years old who have shown potential through a ‘Learn to Swim’ scheme such as DCLT lessons or via private providers such as Swim Stars and Puddle Ducks. They will usually have completed Stage 5 of the National Plan for Teaching Swimming. 

C Squad aims to establish the fundamentals of each of the 4 strokes. All sessions will be heavily technique based to facilite this. Swimmers may be invited to join B Squad after demonsrating a good grasp of the basic skills across all four strokes and an excellent attitude and attendance to training.

Periodic trials are held for new members however we can usually facilitate a trial session for potantial new members. You can do this by email [email protected]
